What personal data PostRocket collects, why we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Last updated 4 November 2026
1. Who is responsible
PostRocket is the controller of personal data collected through our website and account sign-up. For content and contact data you put into the Service about your own customers, you are the controller and we act as your processor. Contact: hello@postrocket.co.
2. What we collect
Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), company and role.
Billing data: plan, billing address and tax details. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored on our servers.
Content: brands, posts, media, connected-channel details and messages you manage in the Service.
Usage data: device and browser information, pages viewed, actions taken and diagnostic logs.
3. Why we use it
To provide and secure the Service, process payments, send service emails, provide support, prevent abuse, improve the product and meet legal obligations. Where required we rely on your consent, for example for non-essential cookies or marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. AI processing
When you use AI features, the relevant content is sent to our AI model providers to generate a result. We choose providers whose terms do not allow them to train their models on your data, and we do not use your content to train models.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, payments, email delivery, AI generation, social posting), the networks you choose to publish to, professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country. Where that happens we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open and for a limited period afterwards for legal, tax and dispute purposes. Content is deleted within 30 days of account closure unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and object to some processing. Email hello@postrocket.co and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and regular reviews to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. Changes
We will post updates here and notify account owners of material changes.
