Data deletion
How to delete your PostRocket data and disconnect your social networks, and what happens when you remove PostRocket from Facebook or Instagram.
Last updated 4 November 2026
1. Disconnect a social network
In the app, go to Settings → Channels and choose Disconnect next to the channel. We delete the access tokens for that connection straight away and stop all publishing and inbox syncing for it. Posts already published stay on the network; remove them there if you want them gone.
2. Delete your whole account
Account owners can delete the account in Settings → Account. This permanently deletes your brands, channels and their tokens, posts, media, inbox history, workflows and team access. Billing records we must keep by law (such as invoices) are retained for the legally required period and nothing else.
3. Ask us to delete it for you
Email privacy@postrocket.co from the email address on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. We confirm your identity, delete the data and reply when it's done.
4. Removing PostRocket from Facebook or Instagram
If you remove PostRocket from your Facebook or Instagram settings (Settings & privacy → Business integrations or Apps and websites), Meta notifies us automatically. We then delete the data we hold for that connection: its access tokens, the pages and accounts linked through it, and synced comments and messages.
Meta shows you a confirmation code. You can check the status of that deletion at any time at /api/integrations/meta/data-deletion?code=YOUR_CODE on postrocket.co.
5. Other networks
Revoking PostRocket's access from another network's connected-apps settings stops us using that connection. To delete the data we hold for it, disconnect the channel in Settings → Channels or contact us.
